The Experience

On April 11-14, Rishka Festival 2 went back to Aloki as a bigger 4 day festival drawing a crowd of more than 35,000 people to celebrate the Bengali New Year on an unprecedented magnitude. It was an immersive outdoor arts festival showcasing a dynamic combination of artisan markets, workshops, and main performances of artists such as ethnic dance & music, magic & comedy show, mime act, dance performance, musical performance from Nemesis, Firoze Jong and Kaaktaal to celebrate the unique traditions of Bangladesh. The larger and brighter version of the festival this year has entrenched the festival as one of the major cultural events in the country.
